The Trip Crew: Dampalitan Island (Day 2)

Waking up on the beach is a dream come true. I am not an early riser but witnessing the vast heavens decorated with glittering stars eons of lightyears away (Gents had to poke me though) gave me a reason to be more active on our second day in Dampalitan Island.

This post is the second of two part-story about our adventure in Dampalitan Island, Quezon. To read about the first part, kindly click here Dampalitan Adventures Part 1.

We were told that the sunrise is equally majestic as the sunset on this island and so even without breakfast, we rushed to the estern end of the place to witness the rising sun and we were not disappointed:

The mangroves. We were lucky no one reprimanded us for coming here. Some of the crew went here the day before and they were advised to stay away from the area.

How about a walk on this path hand in hand every morning? I won’t say no.

The sand made of crushed shells. Years from now and the sand here will be as powdery as Boracay’s.

IMG_9202After taking some shots, we went back to our camp to eat breakfast. Grilled hotdogs and coffee plus pancit canton and hard boiled eggs! What more can we say? Those are the easiest to cook but of course the boys cooked the meal again hehe.

Had the chance to take some snapshots of the everyday scene in Dampalitan. How lucky to have these beautiful things in life just in front of us?

I really love taking shots of wild plants (it’s obvious in my previous posts too). It’s funny how people tend to ignore the beautiful things around them.

And of course we could not let the good lighting go. The Trip Crew is photo ready and this time with the boys! yay!
